Jim West - A Legend in My Eyes

James West drills wells to get clean water for people so he can show them the love of Jesus. 

As a plumber in Pittsburgh, PA, James West has helped a lot of people.                                          His experience has helped him with operating, and overseeing the drilling of wells in villages without a source of clean water.                                                           Here he is with a young girl who walked miles to get water. I watched as Jim walked a mile or so with her while holding her water in one hand. With his other hand he held hers.
As he travels around villages fixing, drilling, and helping people with their wells, he shines with kindness.                                                              On one of the drill sites, he gave his sunglasses to a kid and talked with him. The kid didn't speak english but that didn't stop them from communicating for almost an hour.

I recently attended a meeting with Jim, Graham, and Peter. They are going back in February to continue the work.

  12 Countries Later - Learned bunches and I'm thankful to be alive! God is good! He has rescued me more times than I am even aware of and though it hasn't been an easy journey, so far it has been worth it. Lord willing, I'd like to share some of the experiences from the sports camps in the Dominican Republic to the streets of Strasburgh. Praise God for another day! and as many as he blesses us with!
