"Written from the Heart"

Image
“24 years ago, I stepped in a hole a broke my leg. People sent cards and it ministered to me. I started sending other people cards. 20 each week. I sent one to a painter who was out of a job, “Feeling blue? try painting yourself a different color”. To a friend who was a trucker, “Thought you could use a pick me up.” I remember people coming up to me at church and telling how much  it meant to them. One lady keeps their card on their night stand “to remember someone cares”. After this, I started a ministry called “Written from the Heart”. Since falling in the hole, I’ve been dealing with chronic pain. God has given me something to do no matter when I sleep. I remember the night I fell in the hole I was listening to a message by a quadriplegic. Story Time!  Today, 12/8/2017 @ Uncommon Grounds Cafe, a young man walked up to me and introduced himself. His name was Mark and he was on a mission to save the world!- or maybe for right now help fix the deforestation in Haiti. How? By making and selling Tea! For every one of his bottles he sells, he plants a tree in Haiti! Neat right? I thought so. So I'm your average photographer. I got nothin' to do and I sit, talk with him, drink his tea, and take a couple pictures. The name of the Tea is calles "TeAmo". Translation: "I love you". This guy is about my age and I think he has the potential to do something really great. I'm Praying God blesses Mark and his mission to help Haiti through TeAmo If I was charge of making a Christmas ad for TeAmo, It would look something like this:  Spotted! @ Uncommon Grounds Cafe!   "TeAmo plants a tree every time you buy their tea! What's under your tree?" Te Amo - When you want...

12 Countries Later - Learned bunches and I'm thankful to be alive! God is good! He has rescued me more times than I am even aware of and though it hasn't been an easy journey, so far it has been worth it. Lord willing, I'd like to share some of the experiences from the sports camps in the Dominican Republic to the streets of Strasburgh. Praise God for another day! and as many as he blesses us with! Peace y'all!
